HERE ARE SOME OPPORTUNITIES FOR
DONATING AND VOLUNTEERING IN 2013

MAYER ELDERS' CLUB is looking for volunteers to assist with Mayer Daze activities
at the MAAC. Lots of opportunities; contact the Center at 632-7511 for further
information and to sign up.

MAYER ELDERS' CLUB is actively seeking volunteers for the Mayer Elders Games
Bingo nights. Needed are folks willing to not play, but be there to call back
winning numbers and to learn to call the numbers for the games. Volunteers
must be cleared by the Arizona Gaming Commission. Bingo is played every
Wednesday, the doors open at 5 pm and games start at 6:00 p.m. and are
generally done by 8:45 pm.

“A MILE FOR THE MAAC” The Mayer Elders Club hopes to collect the spare change
that folks in the Highway 69 corridor contribute, to put toward their Capital
Operations Campaign to raise funds for repairs and maintenance on the Mayer Area
Activity Center. They will gladly “do the math” and convert dollar bills and checks to
the coin equivalent toward the MILE FOR THE MAAC! Any amount of donation will be
appreciated. MEC is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and can provide a charitable
donation letter for your tax purposes if requested. Donations accepted at the MAAC
or send checks to Mayer Elders’ Club, P O Box 14, Mayer, AZ 86333.

float and booth. Call 632-7511 for information.

MAYER AREA MEALS ON WHEELS is in immediate and ongoing need of volunteer
drivers to deliver meals one or two days a week.
