Mayer Elders Club
What Is The Mayer
Elders Club?

The Mayer Elders Club is a non-profit
organization that is proud of the role it
plays in meeting the interests and needs
of its community.  Some seniors consider
the Club their "home" and the people they
meet their "family".

The Mayer Elders Club relies on annual
membership dues, private donations
and the hard work and dedication of its
volunteers to keep the Center's doors
open.  Because of this, the Club can:

--Continue programs like the weekly food
distribution program--
--Offer medical and legal programs--
--Sponsor activities, groups, classes,
special events and entertainment--

New members are always welcome and
we hope that you choose to become a
member to support our efforts, so that
you and others can take advantage of and
enjoy all that the Club has to offer.

Anyone 50 years of age or older
may join.
Any couple may join if at least one
of them is 50 years or older.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FOR
BUILDING MAINTENANCE
Time is taking its toll on the Mayer
Area Activity Center, the building
that houses the Mayer Elders
Club.  A water leak under the floor
was recently discovered and the
cost to repair the problem has
necessitated a Capital Campaign
to replace funds
paid out for the repairs.

Throughout 2013 the club will be
holding various fund raising
events to fund the Capital
Campaign.  The main event for the
year will be a campaign to have a
"mile of coins" donated from the
public.  This is a way to capture
the spare change of folks in the
Mayer area so that we have little
amounts that will add up to a
strong foundation for the Capital
Campaign.  While we will call this
a "Make a Mile of Coins for the
MAAC" we will certainly accept all
types of cash and checks toward
the cause!

If you can help, send check or
money order to Mayer Elders Club,
P O Box 14, Mayer, AZ 86333 or
stop by the Center at 10051 Miami
Street (behind the fire station) and
drop your contribution in the box
designated for Capital Campaign
donations.  Your donation is very
much appreciated  whether it
consists of check, money order
or the spare change in your pocket.
