ARCOSANTI OCARINA MAKING WORKSHOP -  a hands on music history workshop.  
The Ocarina, or vessel flute, is what we might call an Ancestral Instrument. This not
only means that our human ancestors created it and played it, but also that the Instrument
itself spawned a great many descendants throughout the world. This Workshop will be
MUCH more than just a ceramics class!  The class will be led through the step-by-step
process of forming their very own clay ocarina and will receive enlightening historical
insights along the way. There will also be discussion about the common threads found
throughout the world's ancient cultural traditions, exploring the ways in which we can

AIDS WALK NORTHERN ARIZONA, Pioneer Park, Brownlow Trail in Prescott - Northland Cares
employees, families and friends are partnering with Aunt Rita’s Foundation to raise money and help
stamp out the stigma faced by those suffering from HIV/AIDS.  The Northland Cares “Stigma
Stompers” need your support to help bring HIV awareness to the area.  For more information on

ONEBEAT - ARTIST RESIDENCY AND TOUR AT ARCOSANTI, presents an evening of international
musical collaboration.  Hailing from Egypt to Venezuela, this year's fellows include a percussionist
and educator from Recife, Brazil; a singer-songwriter and composer from Istanbul, Turkey; an
experimental vocalist from Java, Indonesia, and twenty-two other incredible musicians. Arcosanti
will be hosting public events that will allow those attending to meet the musicians and participate in
the process of music-making. Admission to the performances is FREE, but registration is required.

Dinner will be available at 6:00 p.m.in the Arcosanti Cafe @$10 per person and will include
vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free options.  Musical performance begins at 7:00 p.m.  For more

WEST YAVAPAI  GUIDANCE CLINIC, Prescott Valley, is offering a FREE Mental Health First Aid
course, 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. You will learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and
addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations,
and where to turn for help.  The course is based on an international program designed to help
individuals, first responders, family members and others to understand mental illness and how to
help persons suffering from various disorders.  Space is limited so advance registration is
